Community involvement group

If we're going to solve the challenges of climate change we need to involve everyone and encourage them all to play their part in some way.

To do this we are working in a variety of ways with local councils, schools, businesses, churches and other community organisations.

If you feel you would like to help the group in any way please emailThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.(preferred) or telephone/text 07507 782523.

councilsBradford on Avon Town Council has signed up to our Carbon Neutral 2050 campaign and resolved to support it at its Full Town Council meeting in June 2012. One town councillor has taken on the role of being the CFB link person and works with us to contribute a regular paragraph in the Town Council's newsletters.

We have given presentations about our work to Holt, Limpley Stoke and Winsley Parish Councils and encourage the involvement of all the Parish Councils in the community area.

We have a good relationship with the Wiltshire Council Climate Change team who are a good source of advice for us; we have provided input for them at various events and seminars.

The booklet "Ways to Tackle Climate Change" is a really useful starting point for Parish and Town Councils.  It's packed full of good, straightforward advice and ideas.  You can download it here:  Ways to Tackle Climate Change.
